We'll discuss your goals, desired style, and how the images will be used (LinkedIn, website, marketing materials, etc.). The session itself is designed to be comfortable and enjoyable. I'll guide you through poses and expressions, ensuring you feel confident and relaxed in front of the camera. We often incorporate wardrobe changes to capture a variety of looks and showcase your personality.

How long does a studio headshot or branding session take?A typical studio session lasts between 30 minutes to 3 hours, depending on the package you choose. This includes time for wardrobe changes and different poses. We aim to make the session efficient and enjoyable, ensuring you get a variety of great shots without taking up too much of your day. Makeup application is included in every session and it takes 45 minutes. Studio Headshots are only offer on weekdays.

What should I wear for my studio headshot session?For your headshot, choose clothing that reflects your professional or personal branding style. Solid colors work best, as patterns can distract from your face. I recommend bringing a few options to the session. Once you book, you'll receive a detailed guide on wardrobe selection to help you prepare.

I’m not photogenic. How will you ensure I look good in my headshots?Feeling photogenic is often just a matter of being comfortable in front of the camera, and that’s is my job! I will provide direction on posing and expression, use flattering lighting. My goal is to make you feel at ease because when you’re relaxed, you look your best!

Do you offer retouching? What kind of retouching is included?es, I offer professional image retouching for all my clients. Basic retouching, such as skin smoothing, minor blemish removal, and color correction, is included in all my packages. I also offer more advanced retouching options, such as background removal, composite images, and creative enhancements, which can be discussed and priced separately based on your specific needs.

When will I receive my headshots?I understand the importance of a quick turnaround. After selecting your final shots following the session, your retouched headshots will be delivered digitally within 48 hours. This way, you can start using your new photos as soon as possible.

Do you photograph teams of people?Absolutely! You can book on-site office headshots for your larger team as well as smaller team or individual headshots in the Studio. We service the Boston, MA and North Shore area. Contact me to inquire about team headshot session details!
