How you feel while you're being photographed? Most of us are used to seeing ourselves in selfies, but being photographed by someone else can feel very different. Suddenly, we're wondering how we look, what to do with our hands, and whether we're posing the right way.
I pay attention to the details
When I photograph a team, I don't simply put someone in front of the camera and start taking pictures. I take the time to make sure you look and feel your best, from adjusting your hair and clothing to guiding your posture and expression. My goal is for you to feel comfortable, confident, and ready for your headshot.
Is your hair sitting the way you want it to? Is there a stray piece that needs fixing? Do you need blotting powder? Is your jacket sitting correctly? Is your necklace in the right place? Does your collar need adjusting? I'll fix it.
With over 15 years working in the hair and makeup industry, I am comfortable making little adjustments. I want you to look polished and professional, but still look like you.
Those small details can make a big difference in how you feel when you see the final photograph.
Most people aren't comfortable in front of a camera. I often hear things like:
“I'm not photogenic.”
“I have no idea what to do.”
That's okay.
You don't need to know how to pose. That's my job.
