As a hair and makeup artist, I have the opportunity to meet brides with a wide range of styles and personalities. Allison's personality was very sweet and laid-back. She and her hubby-to-be decided to make the wild move of eloping at the Boston Public Garden.
But she didn't have to sacrifice looking good for her elopement ceremony.
For her mid-length dark hair, she wanted a loose updo with some pieces out and also some texture. I created this by curling her hair first. She is a natural girl and never wears makeup, but wanted to try some lashes. I made sure I chose fake lashes that are easy to wear (and do not look fake!)
Not only did she look beautiful, she was also very comfortable walking around the public garden on her special day.
